About Us
Cocoon was founded in June 2020 by a young and passionate person with a vision to extend his philanthropic ways of working to a larger group. He conceived the name to very aptly fit his dream of wanting to help every person peer out of their cocoon of blankets and help explore the many opportunities available. The organization, thus aims to make a difference not just for those who are receiving our services but also for those who are working on the ground by igniting a need to always be socially connected and be able to give back in our best possible way.
Our motto is truly inspired by the famous song – Make it a place a better for you and for me and the entire human race!
Children
We aim to focus on education activities, and skills training. Activities will be focussed on volunteers going to schools and conducting programmes like improving communication skills, public speaking, leadership skills, and parents are also involved in creating awareness about the importance of schooling and education. Children with special attention will be identified and necessary training will be offered or be referred to places if such needs.
Old age
Health is the major focus area and the organization aims to work towards sponsoring medications for those who are in need. One day activity programs will also be organized in an old age community to help them feel connected.
Community and Health
Medical camps, blood donation camps, and programs will be conducted to spread the awareness in the community about integrating both physical and mental health for a wholistic living.
Special groups
Exhibitions and stalls will be organized for children and adults with special needs to showcase their work, thereby help build a source of livelihood. The organizations also aim to offer donations to the deserving ones according to the nature of the need.
Environment
Saving our land and planet is of utmost importance now and forever for a greener and healthy tomorrow. The organization is strongly committed towards tree planting initiatives, cleaning up activities. Along with these, nature walks and awareness programs will also be planned.
